Triclosan is a kind of high-efficiency broad-spectrum antibacterial disinfectant for external use, also known as dichlorophenoxychlorophenol, triclosin, Klein, bacteriostatic pure, sanitary pure, jiemeixin, triclosan. The normal state is white or grayish white crystalline powder, with a slightly phenolic odor. It is insoluble in water and soluble in alkali and organic solvents.
